Saturday, July 15, 2023 Will Special Guest of Kathryn Bostic in LA for Premiere of Two New Film Scores Composer and singer-songwriter Kathryn Bostic is the first female African American score composer in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Join Kathryn and her special guest, Will Calhoun, for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' world premiere of two films with new scores by her: "Something Good - Negro Kiss" (1898) and "The Flying Ace" (1926.) It's the closing weekend of the fantastic "Regeneration Exhibit" at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures with a live performance of Kathryn's original score to select scenes from incredible curated silent films.
